Now that I actually have time to sit down and write, I'll go into more detail. Yay? Yes, yay, indeed.
I found something out the other day. I love Seattle. No, wrong... I knew that before, but there's just something about the city that makes me feel so alive. Let's just list of some reasons why I love it, hmm?
- Coffee. I love coffee. And nowhere else, in the country, will you find more coffee shops per square mile. No! Yard. No! Inch! Coffee is everywhere. And where there is coffee, there is energy. Which I love.
- Cafe Umbria. It's this perfect little Italian coffee store right in the middle of Pioneer Square. Great coffee, great atmosphere, and, truth be told, a great view. What, you ask? A great view? Yes, with giant windows at the front and side of the store, you are allowed an unobstructed view of...
- Seattle men. They are, simply, gorgeous, and can't be beaten, save by the French and English guys who occasionally stroll in. I love it.
- Books. The Elliot Bay Book Company, to be more exact. Where else can you find a beautifully illustrated edition of 'Hamlet' for only five dollars? Bargain book shopping is the best. But, when you combine books and men, you get...
- Luck. Yes, I tend to be very lucky when I go downtown, which is why I love it so much. Why, you might ask? Well, here's why! I was in Cafe Umbria, enjoying my coffee, when a Gaspard Ulliel look-a-like walked by the window, wearing jeans and a crisp, white button down shirt. I saw him, jaw dropped, etc. We played sticky eyes for a bit, but, alas, fate is so cruel, and he kept walking. Whatever, right? After I finished my coffee, I went to the book store, and while I was perusing a shelve entitled, 'Books We Want to See on the Big Screen,' I turned, and BAM! Mr. Hot Stuff himself... and I was like, fate kicks ass. We exchanged greetings (he has a dimple... aww), and he admitted that he had to leave after a few minutes. Normally, I would take that as a polite cold shoulder.
- But I got his number, biyatch.
So, I love Seattle. 'Nuff said.
-Peace and love
